LEED Certification

Gulf Trace Elementary is one of the first Green LEED (Leadership and Energy and Environmental Design) schools to be built in Florida, and the first school in Pasco to earn LEED certification. Gulf Trace has also been certified energy star efficient. Gulf Trace Elementary has been recognized by the Florida Department of Education as a 2010-2011 Five Star School. This prestigious award is the Florida Department of Education’s highest for community and parent involvement.
